EMERGE HOLISTIC

Session Agreement
This page outlines how I work, and what you can expect when we meet.
The nature of the work
Sessions are designed to support emotional wellbeing, self-awareness, and a more grounded way of relating to yourself and your life.
Depending on the session type, this may involve conversation, reflection, and gentle awareness of what is happening in your body and experience. At times, and only with your clear consent, this may include simple body-based practices.
This is a therapeutic and supportive space, but it is not psychotherapy or medical treatment.
Working together
We begin from where you are. There is no fixed agenda, and sessions unfold in response to what feels present and ready to be explored.
You are encouraged to communicate openly about your needs, boundaries, and comfort levels throughout. Consent is ongoing, and you are free to pause or change direction at any time.
You are responsible for sharing any relevant physical or mental health information, and for attending sessions in a clear and sober state.

Confidentiality
Everything shared in sessions is treated in confidence, with a few exceptions required by law or professional responsibility. These include situations where there is a risk of serious harm, or where disclosure relates to criminal activity.
I may also discuss aspects of the work within professional supervision, without identifying you.
If we happen to see each other in public, I will not acknowledge you unless you choose to acknowledge me first.
Practicalities
Sessions are offered either in person or online, depending on your preference.
If we are working online, you are responsible for ensuring a stable connection, a suitable device, and a private space where you won’t be disturbed. If this isn’t in place, the session may need to end early and will still be charged.
Payment is made at the time of booking.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least a day’s notice. Sessions cancelled with less notice may still be charged in full.
If you arrive significantly late, we may not be able to continue the session as planned.

Boundaries
I may pause or end a session if boundaries are not respected, if you attend under the influence of substances, if I feel unsafe, or if the work moves outside my scope of practice.
Your agreement
By booking a session, you confirm that you are over 18 and that you have read and agree to the above.
We can always take a moment to go over anything when we meet.
